The Call to Heal | Trusting Soul

This opening module serves as a sacred threshold into the path of the Universal Shaman. You are welcomed into a living field of transformation—one that invites you to remember your inherent wholeness and your capacity to serve life through love.

Through breath, invocation, and guided inner experience, you begin to shift beyond the limitations of conditioned perception and into a more expansive awareness of yourself as a luminous, co-creative being. This is the beginning of learning to trust your soul—not as an idea, but as a lived, embodied reality.

You are invited to enter this path gently, with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to be transformed.

In this module, you will:

• Receive an initiation into the path of Universal Shamanism as a way of selfless, heart-centered service
• Begin cultivating a shamanic state of awareness through breath, presence, and imagination
• Explore the principle of kawsay—living energy—and your relationship to it
• Be introduced to the three worlds (hanaqpacha, kaypacha, ukhupacha) as dimensions of consciousness
• Learn that this path is rooted in direct experience, rather than belief

Practices & experiences include:

• Foundational breath practices for restoring balance and wholeness
• A Quechua invocation calling forth your relationship with Great Spirit and the living cosmos
• An introduction to the Pachakuti Mesa as a sacred altar and center of shamanic practice
• A guided inner journey into the ukhu pacha (inner world) to begin transforming shadow into ally
• Energetic practices of reciprocity (ayni)—receiving and offering in sacred balance

What you’ll walk away with:

• A felt sense of connection to your soul and the greater web of life
• An understanding of shamanism as a path of loving service and conscious participation
• Tools to begin working with your inner landscape in a grounded and compassionate way
• A new relationship to challenge and “shadow” as part of your healing and evolution
• The beginnings of your own sacred practice, rooted in awareness, breath, and intention

Integration & reflection:

You are encouraged to begin a journaling practice, track your experiences, and gently gather or envision your mesa (sacred altar). This is a time of opening—of allowing what has been unseen or unacknowledged to come into awareness with compassion.

Transformation on this path does not come from striving toward an outcome, but from showing up fully and allowing the process to unfold.

SESSION 2 (Audio)

A Balance of Power | Honoring Spirit

In this module, you are invited to deepen your relationship with the unseen forces of life by learning to walk in balance with spiritual power.

Building upon your initial awakening, this session explores how all of life is vibration, relationship, and sacred exchange. You begin to understand that true power is not something to control or possess, but something to harmonize with—through reverence, awareness, and right relationship with spirit.

Through teachings, ritual practice, and direct experience, you are guided to embody a balanced way of being where your thoughts, words, and actions become aligned with the greater web of life

In this module, you will:

• Explore the nature of power as a balanced, relational force rather than personal control
• Deepen your understanding of ayni (sacred reciprocity) as the foundation of spiritual practice
• Learn how vibration, intention, and awareness shape your lived reality
• Be introduced to the Pachakuti Mesa Cosmovision as a living archetype of the universe
• Begin cultivating a conscious relationship with spirit through reverence and embodied practice

Practices & experiences include: 

• Gazing and journeying with the Pachakuti Mesa Cosmovision as a sacred map of consciousness
• Foundational teachings on the elements, directions, and archetypal forces within the shamanic universe
• The practice of consecration using sacred elements (such as cornmeal, tobacco, and water)
• The “I Am” ritual process for aligning heart, mind, body, and spirit
• Guided visualization to become a stabilizing, healing presence within moments of chaos

What you’ll walk away with:

• A grounded understanding of how to engage spiritual power with humility and balance
• Tools to center yourself and restore harmony in challenging situations
• A deeper connection to the living field of energy within and around you
• Confidence in relating to unseen forces without fear, domination, or avoidance

Integration & reflection:

You are encouraged to continue journaling, noticing the subtle ways your awareness, perception, and energetic sensitivity are evolving.

Begin working more intentionally with your mesa—placing your medicine pieces with care, engaging in simple acts of consecration, and allowing your relationship with spirit to unfold organically. This is not about perfection, but about deepening trust and presence.

SESSION 3 (Video)

The Condor’s Quest | Opening Heart

In this module, the journey deepens into the path of the heart—where love (munay) becomes the guiding force of your practice and your life.

You are invited to move beyond understanding into embodiment, awakening a direct experience of wholeness that is no longer dependent on external conditions. Through the sacred art of composing your Pachakuti Mesa, you begin to recognize your altar as a mirror of your soul and a living expression of your relationship with the cosmos.

This is the condor’s path: to rise into a higher perspective while remaining rooted in love, compassion, and service to the Earth.

In this module, you will:

• Deepen your relationship to munay (love) as the foundation of shamanic practice
• Understand the Pachakuti Mesa as a mirror of your inner world and soul essence
• Explore the sacred structure of the mesa through the five directions and their deeper meaning
• Learn the symbolic teaching of the human life journey as part of a greater spiritual unfolding
• Begin embodying wholeness as your natural state, beyond the illusion of separation

Practices & experiences include:

• Energetic cleansing and preparation using traditional elements such as Palo Santo
• A guided journey into the hanaqpacha (upper world) to receive light and expanded awareness
• Mirror work to recognize your own divinity and reflect it through your mesa practice
• Toning and activating the five directions (Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Ether)
• Working with your misarumi (mesa centerpiece) as a living anchor of your practice
• Practices for “dreaming” your life and future into being through disciplined imagination

What you’ll walk away with:

• A deeper, embodied connection to your heart as a source of guidance and healing
• The experience of your mesa as a living, relational field—not just a symbolic altar
• Greater confidence in working with the directions and their associated energies

The Hummingbird’s Ascent | Transforming Mind

Building upon our accrued wisdom and the shamanic tools learned thus far, we are prepared to embark on the journey of transforming mind. By trusting soul, we re-member; in honoring spirit, vision is bestowed; and through the opening of our hearts, the healing power of love is granted. And thus, our next step is to apprentice the art of making manifest our thoughts, insights and divine imaginings in a manner that positively transforms current reality. The power of intention and disciplined imagination known to Pachakuti Mesa Tradition adepts shall be thoroughly apprenticed and mastered in this fourth module of our series.

Our Shamanic Self | Healing Body

The journey of initiation into perennial shamanic wisdom teachings and ritual practices gives us an embodied understanding of the primacy of consciousness behind all things. This, in turn, deepens our ability to effect healing influence within our physical bodies. Participants in this fifth apprenticeship module shall be introduced to the workings of kawsay – vital life force – for the strengthening and evolution of our human neurophysiology. Awakened in the heart by the experience of inextricable solidarity with our living Earth, we shall learn shamanic techniques for harnessing Gaia’s sacred medicine, allowing us to deepen and sustain our attainment of vitality and balanced living.

We are all native children of Mother Earth, all indigenous participants of her tribal dreaming – blessed by a shared experience of common unity with Pachamama and consciously dedicated to her sustainability. As a global family, our sense of belongingness is a true re-membering, by which each thought, word and action finds radiant reflection in All Our Relations. Based on our shared willingness to stand together, in deep reverence for the Great Sacred Hoop of Life, we realize our Earth walk is a path of sacred activism.

In the memorable words of T.S. Eliot, “We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring, will be to arrive where we started, and know the place for the first time.” Indeed. Although this noble sojourn throughout virtual shamanic dimensions of healing must come to ‘an end’, in reality, it remains an eternal beginning, a return to the One Source. We are now fully prepared to carry forth the magic, mystery and medicine of universal shamanism to the Four Directions. In doing so, we forever help crystallize The Shift, for we have learned to embrace a life-way that leads from victimhood to volunteerism, from separation to wholeness, and from fear to love. This is our destiny, this is our decree, Pachakuti Mesa Tradition carriers and Gaia’s children. Infinite gratitude for your evolutionary participation in transforming our world through sacred living!
