Learning to play our part in the Game of Life is itself a spiritual practice. In the Andean tradition, life is understood as a sacred Game in which we are both participants and co-creators—called to engage with humility, responsibility, curiosity, creativity and wonder. Across cultures, we find resonant ways of understanding this mysterious human experience. Each viewpoint offers a different lens through which to ask the same essential question: "How do we learn to play our part in this interconnected tapestry of life with honesty, humility, integrity and creativity while discovering what our souls came here to know and become?"
The Pachakuti Mesa offers a tangible spiritual technology for exploring our place within this greater mystery and learning to embody our role in the sacred web of life. Through our relationships, through listening and observing, through reciprocity and, above all, through the expression of love, we deepen our understanding of how to play the Game with greater skill and awareness. In time, these practices become a path toward mastering the art of living, being and becoming—and more fully expressing our divine role in the unfolding of life.
During our time together, we will:
1. Explore cross-cultural perspectives on the Game of Life, and the many ways spiritual traditions have understood our place, purpose and participation within the greater tapestry of existence.
2. Experience a guided journey to find deeper understanding into our role in a particular life situation, working with our Mesas as a source of guidance.
3. Become more intimate with our Mesa as a sacred “game board”—a living field for navigating our role, receiving guidance, and cultivating relationship with the forces of life.
4. Bring our insights into practice by working with our own Mesas to embody what we discover and explore how these teachings can inform the way we play your part in the Game of Life.
